Compact Coring Unit from CUMSA

We present to your attention gates for molds of the Spanish firm Cumsa.

Compact devices for making small holes in the side walls of plastic parts.

Both elements are driven by standard ISO 10243 - LLD springs.

Compression force: 40 kg for the UC model and 7 kg for the UA model.

Stroke of the forming sign: UC - 4.5 mm and UA - 4 mm.

Estimated number of cycles: 500,000 presses before spring replacement.

Operating temperature: 150°C.

UC can be placed anywhere in the working form, instead of UA, it must be installed on the outside of the plate for side mounting.

Key benefits:

• Installation of one plate, reduction of necessary space, and also direct vertical processing.
• Lack of the necessary adjustment between the core and the cavity of the plates. UA is 100% accessible from the outside of the form.
• Both components are interchangeable and easy to repair and maintain.
• The element on the core is independent, and therefore the only necessary adjusting element is the pin.
• The bars are made of tool steels .2344 (53 ± 2HRC) and 1.2379 (58 ± 2HRC).
