Silicone release agents are used in manufacturing to prevent molten materials from sticking to molds, dies, extrusion heads, and press equipment. Silicone-based formulas form a stable film that acts as a separator between the material and the forming element, preserving the accuracy of geometry and the surface quality of the product.

Purpose of Silicone Release Agents
Silicone separators reduce the surface energy of the mold, prevent polymers from sticking to metal, simplify part removal, and minimize coating damage. After application, silicone lubricant withstands multiple molding cycles without reapplication, operates at temperatures up to 250–300 °C, and is compatible with aluminum, steel, and chrome surfaces.
Using silicone-based products reduces tool wear, shortens the molding cycle, and ensures stable surface quality of finished products.
Release Agents for Plastic Molding and Pressing
- Formula 1 — universal silicone release agent for thermoplastics molding. Provides stable heat resistance and does not cause surface defects. Recommended for repeated use.
- Formula 8 — silicone-based product for molding parts where clear separation without sticking is required. Works with ABS, PS, PA, PE, rubber, and technical resins.
- Formula 20 — silicone lubricant with a marking pigment. Allows visual control of the application area. Suitable for molds requiring precise distribution of the release layer.
Specialized Silicone Products
- Formula 6 — silicone-based release agent for molding plastics and rubber mixtures. Universal for thermo- and thermosetting materials.
- Formula 1/HT — agent for lubricating extrusion heads. Offers enhanced heat resistance and stability when in contact with molten polymer compositions.
- PUR 400 — specialized silicone separator for working with polyurethane. Prevents sticking to mold walls and does not alter the geometry or color of the finished product.
- Silicone Release FG — food-grade silicone release agent approved for indirect contact with food. Used in packaging, textile manufacturing, and molding of components for food industry equipment.
